We're excited to share that Q Golf has been granted two patents covering the technology at the heart of the all-in-one club: US Patent No. 12,636,550 and Japan Patent No. 7885485.
These patents protect the push and twist adjustment mechanism that lets a single Q replace a full set of clubs. It's the part of the club we've spent the most time getting right, and having it formally recognised in two of the world's most important golf markets means a great deal to us.
Beyond the milestone, this matters for a practical reason. With protection in place, we can invest in developing the all-in-one concept with far more certainty. Every improvement we make to Q, and everything we're planning next, is built on this foundation.
A couple of things worth adding:
- These are the first of several. We have further patents in progress.
- We're open to conversations with parties interested in licensing our technology.
We started Q Golf to make golf lighter, simpler, and more accessible: one club instead of 14. Patents don't change that mission, but they give us the confidence to keep building toward it properly.
