The PGA Show is always a whirlwind of tech, noise, and new gear. This year, we decided to skip the traditional booth and spend our time on the ground, meeting with the suppliers and distributors who help us get Q into your hands.
But, as it turns out, you don't need a stand to get noticed.
The Call
Midway through the show, we received a frantic call from one of Rick Shiels’ producers. They were filming a segment on the most "interesting" inventions at the PGA Show and were building a complete set out of the most unique equipment they could find.
They needed a versatile iron to anchor the bag. We were more than happy to come to the party and handed over the Q Gen2.
Testing in the Florida Sun
Rick took this "Frankenstein" collection of gear to a nearby course in Orlando, Florida, to see if these innovations actually performed on the grass or if they were just show floor gimmicks.
While the bag was full of unusual equipment, Rick’s experience with the Q Gen 2 was a standout. Despite the pressure of the Florida heat and the cameras rolling, he played exceptionally well.
The Verdict: 9/10
We’ve always known the Q Gen 2 is a game-changer, but hearing it from the world’s most-watched golf personality is another thing entirely.
Rick gave the Q Gen 2 a 9 out of 10 - the highest rating of any product in the video. Even better? He went as far as calling it the “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) product of the bunch.
