Ideaal voor als je zoals ik regelmatig met de fiets naar de golfbaan gaat. Heb er nog maar 2 x mee gespeeld en moet nog wel wennen wat er allemaal mee kan. Bij een kale ligging kom ik moeilijk achter de bal, het hogere gras gaat prima. Bij het putten ook wennen aan het harde clubblad. De hybride stand gebruik ik het meest, ook bij lange puts. Ook gemakkelijk rondom de green omdat je met 1 club naar je bal loopt en dan ter plaatse je keuze bepaald. Je kan nooit een club laten liggen bij de bunker of zo, omdat je er maar 1 in je hand hebt. Heb nog wel een driver bij me omdat ik er vanaf de tee geen afstand mee haal. Al met al valt het me tot nu toe reuze mee.

I really like this club! I got some stick at my local golf club for buying it, but all those giving me stick are equally desperate to have a go with the club!

I’m a bit of a beginner, 1 year in and playing off a 24 HCP. I’m going backpacking soon and didn’t want to give up the golf so that’s why I got this club. But also, I’m using it multiple times a week to just walk (5 mins) to my local club and get a quick 9 holes in. It’s so refreshing not having to carry a bag of clubs around with you, I could if I wanted get 18 holes in in probably just over 2 hours as opposed to the usual 3+ hours.

All that said, it is a little harder to hit for me than my Ping G5’s. It’s a little longer and heavier. Putting is funky, I really struggle with the Stinger 11° setting (I would struggle with this with any club), and the hybrid too. I miss my driver when on the course but this wouldn’t be a problem on par 3/executive courses. Surprisingly the wedges and 8 iron feel great.

5 stars for its value for money and uniqueness. It doesn’t replace a full bag of clubs for me, but is a great club for when you want to just get out for a practice.
